Trailer Animation

This excerpt started as a proof-of-concept that ballooned into a full blown project through the use of Google Sketch-up, After-Effects and Adobe Premiere. Once the 3d content was created in Sketch-up (a 3d modeling software package) I was able to assign camera moves and animations to the 3d objects to make them move, appear and disappear, and rotate. The scales, signs and warning lights were added in After Effects using camera tracking and layering. This was a difficult work flow due to the import/export nature of the software packages but remains one of the most different graphic works that I have done.
